Text: A surprise yesterday was to find Cobham Bus Museum's Reliance garage sweeper RL92 at Twyford Water Works in Hampshire. We visisted the running day in Winchester and took a bus ride up to the waterworks which was open to the public - an interesting day out if you fancy going to one of their open days. RL92 is there for restoration and under the care of a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable chap by the name of Matthew (reminded me a bit of Tom). He also has a Lister auto-truck on site and seems to collect such vehicles. It appears that RL92 will get a good going over and have all its non-working bits restored to working order. Matthew was also able to explain what all those levers do! Interesting stuff and surely good news to see another obscure vehicle being restored.
