| Details: 2432M is another of the C/VOY Mercedes 307D which seems to have only been photographed once, and I am grateful to James for capturing this view. It was found parked in Burnt Oak probably in about 1990. As with most of the dropside trucks, 2432M had been used by the Works and Buildings section when new, but had later been transferred to the Permanent Way Manager, as evidenced by the cabside lettering seen here. The only other lettering is the fleetnumbers, which appear to be smaller than those carried earlier by other trucks from this batch. Like 2431M, this truck has what looks like a small hoist in the front of the body. Unfortunately I cannot make out whether there is also a support strut underneath. | ||
