| Details: An interesting picture taken outside Upton Park garage on 30th October 1982 shows two owned service vehicles and one hired one. On the left is Vauxhall Chevette Saloon Car 2285B (FYP285V), new in July 1980 and allocated to Chiswick for training purposes. On the right is Ford D1110 Open Towing Lorry 1988F (Trade plates 303LA) which spent most of its life allocated here until withdrawal at the end of 1984. Behind is a Ford Cargo lorry owned by Ryder vehicle rentals. Such trucks were often hired to cover short term requirements. | ||
