| Details: A batch of nine Volkswagen Transporter vans was leased for the Bus Passenger Infrastructure unit in spring 1993, being joined by a further seven in 1994. All carried V suffixes to their fleetnumbers, Vauxhall vehicles continuing the use of the B (for Bedford) suffix. 4312V was photographed at Stratford on 30th September 1993. The location appears to be a parking area on the opposite side of Great Eastern Road from the old bus station (which would be off frame in the left background?). The taxi in the background could well be East London SUU616R, as such vehicles were also known to park here. | ||
