| Details: A slightly ropey photograph but it does let me keep the 'highest numbered SV picture' trophy for a while longer! Ford Transit crew van 6489F can often be seen parked outside Frank Pick house, between Acton Town station and the main lorry yard. It differs from other recent short-wheelbase crew vans in having a light-bar and rear chevrons, and it is lettered as an Escalators Logisitic Support Vehicle. The gap between the two buildings in the background is now often home to MAN dropside lorry 2579, formerly resident at Griffith House. | ||
