| Dave visited the Elizabeth Line depot in Plumstead on 14th August 2025 and was surprised to find no fewer than 15 brand new Ford Transit vans present. All were in TfL white livery and were of the electric 'E-Transit' variant, the first examples for the central fleet. After much peering through the fences, Dave managed to read the fleetnumbers on most of the vans, these being in the range 9470F to 9486F. Shown here is 9482F. The arrival of so many vans was unexpected, since the Elizbeth Line previously had a fleet of just seven Transit crew vans. |
