| The publicity department had an office at Stockwell bus garage, where a collection of Bedford CF vans were usually parked, as seen in the background of this 3rd January 1988 view. To the fore however is a Ford Escort van numbered 3263F (A939WTL) and lettered for London Transport Emergency Operations. Little is known about this vehicle other than that it was at times allocated to Heathrow Airport and Victoria Bus Garage. It left the fleet in July 1988. |
