Land Rover 4404LR was an odd looking beast, with custom bodywork for its duties as a High Voltage Mains Fault Investigation Unit. It left the fleet in June 1999 but apparently carried on in the same role with new user Powerlink. On 2nd August 2005 it was found parked outside Harrow-on-the-Hill Station, showing off its revised livery. It had also been modified with a box extension over the cab.
